Its been awhile!

Just wanted to update everyone. We are still here, at this time "Boots" is no longer for sale. He is really a great horse and Shawn enjoys riding him too much to let him go right now.....We do have 3 left for sale at this time and depending on what Dee Dee has this next week or so, we may do a little rearranging of sale horses....be sure to let us know if you are interested in any of the ones we have available....

Peppys Sweet Speck now available for sale!

We have added Peppys Sweet Speck to our for sale horses. If you are wanting a well bred, beautiful Paint stallion take a look at him. He has proven himself enough that we feel it is time for him to go to a new home. Shawn is really getting busy with all the horses he has in training and he really does not have the time to focus on "Boots" much more since we have lots of colts to start this next fall and several client horses that need to be shown this fall. He has been started on cattle and is a natural. He will make a super Working Cow Horse, calf horse or heeling horse. Check him out on our Horse Sales Page.

Back from the APHA Paint World

Well, we are back from the Paint World and it was a great experience. We did not make the finals but our first time at that big of a show is over and we can't wait till next year. We will continue on and go to as many shows as we can over the next year.
The heat and humidity was horrible and that made it hard on the horse. Also the practice times being in the middle of the night made getting enough sleep tough also.
We have another NRHA this weekend in Albuquerque and will have both Chief Dry Doc and Peppys Sweet Speck there. We are looking forward to this weekend and will let you all know.

JVJ Performance Horses is really excited about showing at the APHA world show. We have also add several new webrings that we have joined.
As we mentioned earlier, Peppys Sweet Speck is an NRHA money earner as well as being the Hi-Point Junior horse at the May FCCRA horse show. He is so talented and we are so happy with him.

APHA World Show

JVJ Performance Horses is having another first. We are going to the Paint World Show with Peppys Sweet Speck. Shawn and Lisa went to the world show last year and had a booth with EQ Solutions products, but this will be a first for both Shawn and "Boots" at the World Show in competition. They will be showing in Junior Reining. Boots is a really talented young horse and we have high hopes for him, we put him on cattle for the first time last week and he took right to it. We hope to show him next year in the Jr. Working Cow Horse.
